Challenge:
Inform employees of what to do in the event of an active shooting situation at Apple Park.
Solution:
We created a simple, easily digestible interactive experience to walk employees through the steps to take if the event ever presented itself. The experience is delivered in bite sized pieces of information. The site was designed as a long one-pager to allow trainees to just have to scroll down to consume the content. Pauses were intentionally placed in the scrolling experience to prevent trainees from scrolling too quickly through the content. The photography used on the site was staged photography taken at Apple to depict a real potential active shooting situation. This was done to help illustrate the content being expressed but also to elevate the seriousness of the risk.
